CEI will be holding high school welding competition
April 08, 2025
For the first time in 15 years, the College of Eastern Idaho is hosting a high school welding competition on April 18, according to a press release.
“It has been 15 years since CEI (formerly EITC) has held a high school welding competition,” Bradley Huntsman, welding program coordinator at CEI, said in the release. “The biggest reason for this was the old waitlist system with 70 to 100 people waiting for limited seats. Now that we’ve moved to a competitive entrance process, we’re able to actively recruit from local high schools — and first on our agenda is bringing back this competition.”
